International Review of African American Art

The International Review of African American is the oldest and longest continuous publication on African American art. The publication was started 29 years ago by noted African American artist, curator and art historian Samella Lewis. It offers an insiders grasp of the complexities of African American visual and material culture and covers both the history of the art and the contemporary scene.
